How To Make A Survival Kit For Your Car This Winter!
The winter is here!
The winter is here and that means the snow is coming! Are you prepared for all the possible situations you could encounter this winter? Well, it is always a good idea to have a survival kit in your car for the winter time! In this article, we are going to go over some great things to keep in that kit!
The Kit
To start this kit off right find yourself a duffle bag, tote, or bin to hold all of these items to make them easy to find, so they are not rolling all over the trunk. Then, you need to gather all of the items you are going to need to handle the Colorado winter! You will want to have a shovel, windshield scraper, flashlight (with extra batteries), water, a battery-powered radio, small snack foods, matches, and candles, extra socks, hats and gloves, booster cables, flares, cat-litter, and tow chains! When you have all these items you are prepared for all of the possible issues you could run into this winter!
In the car
In addition to the stuff listed above, we also think it is important to keep a phone charger, First Aid Kit, and a good book in your car. That way if you get stuck in the snow and your phone dies you won’t be stranded with no solutions! If you do get stuck you have a warm blanket to curl up in and a nice book to read while you await your rescue!
